Well, a cyberangel is probably better than the Host. I don't everything is wrong about the Cyberpapacy, only what Malraux is doing with it ;).

Re: Resisting Transformation

I'd say they resist. This is what the moment of crisis is all about. Pushing back. Resisting the invading reality because it feels innately wrong, because it just doesn't make sense. But you could imagine a character embracing a new reality because she has lost hope in her own reality or doesn't fee...

Re: Miniature alternatives

Nice! I particularly like the map grids (that's brilliant, as I can now order gaming tile sets without the grid lines :o) and the spell effects. These could be ideally combined with regular minis, when we do get them somewhere down the line. They say they print on demand though, which is great, but ...

Re: Living Land Kickstarter Preview

This discussion is not to denigrate them, but to provide feedback on how folks value the cards and what they’re willing and not willing to do to get them. If I’m driving this home a little it’s because I think they’re limited in what kind of changes they can make with a few days notice. So we’re pl...

Re: Living Land Kickstarter Preview

Although being kind of forced to pledge a specific level to get items that are essential to the game is annoying, you have to remember that it's a KS campaign, which generally means KS exclusive goodies. So maybe they should consider choosing other exclusives. A very special edition of the GM screen...

Re: Greetings from Western Cyberpapacy

I did some tidying up today and... yay! I found my original Torg die neatly preserved in a smooth dice bag :o. I knew it had to be somewhere.
I'm pretty sure nobody cares right now, but it feels so good to say it :D.

Re: Language Skill Question

Nice analysis Staffan. I'm personally a strong advocate of the Language skill. And not just because of my job ;). You will always find someone who can speak decent English, but not that many at a fluent level. The vast majority of people over the world don't speak English on a daily basis, and a lot...

Re: Road to Philadelphia

Yes, I agree. Given that we are expected to be laying out on a non-white background, a transparent background for the characters would be very helpful. Maybe we could do it ourselves? EDIT I can do it with Gimp and export them in PNG format . I've modified the pictures and they now have a transpare...

Re: Greetings from Western Cyberpapacy

Totally agree ! Do you agree about the weird illustrations or that it's a great game? Well, everybody agrees it IS a great game, so it must be the illustrations :D. For some arcane reason, the illustrations in the French version of the Living Land sourcebook were different from those in the English...
