Re: What's behind the names of Cyberpapacy augments and weapons?

Yeah, I only did a little chunk, Deanna's the brains behind the goodies and, more importantly, the STEAM behind it. I have no idea how she churns out *so* *many* *words*! It's amazing and I'm as in awe of her work ethic as I can be. She could take some little idea I had and turn it into something b...

Re: What's behind the names of Cyberpapacy augments and weapons?

Speaking of numbers, Deanna let me put a little teaser over in the crowdfunding thread. Go have a look. :D I have been following that thread with keen interest. You and Deanna have been bursting with ideas - I can't wait to read the fruit of your labours. The Cyberpapacy (together with the Drama De...

Looks like Jean is one of those lean and hungry types that put the wind up Julius Caesar. I can't wait to see his plans, and his adventures in numerology

Re: What's behind the names of Cyberpapacy augments and weapons?

I'd like to think that the (relatively) high Social Axiom is something the Church has been fighting against, not something it engineered. The Social 18 rose from the people -- both as an undercurrent from the masses, who may be docile as a whole but still expect a certain level of societal fairness...

Re: What's behind the names of Cyberpapacy augments and weapons?

The Bonfire of Vanities would work very, very well with the Cyberpapacy, indeed - although it might need some imagination. For historical context, the Bonfires of Vanities were the result of a mystical + pre-socialist revolution led by a Dominican (read "Inquisitor") in 15th century Flore...

Re: Cyberpapacy Crowdfunding Launches on November 11

It might be a bit cheeky, but I wonder whether it would be possible to send emails to the backers of the original Torg Eternity KS and the recent Aysle KS via Kickstarter - the quality and value of the content being produced is brilliant, and I'd hate to think people missed out because they were una...

Re: Relics of Power Acts 3-5?

So, I backed the Aysle Kickstarter at the Box level. As I've read the conversations about the Cyberpapacy campaign and discussions about Chapter 6, I realize I never received Chapters 3-5. I looked through my drivethrurpg library and don't see anything there, either. Is there another way to get the...

Re: Things you'd like to know about Tharkold

The low spiritual axiom of Tharkold was a genius move - not just because of the widely acknowledged power-creep issue, but it effects a really substantive change in the reality: a truly demon-haunted world without the hope of salvation. In such a world, you really want your demons to be "demons...
