Re: Cyberdeck operations

Thanks, I was thinking wireless would be the way. I was thinking particularly of the following scene, and how to describe it with a storm knight using a cyberdeck: The computer DSR at the end if Act One of Relics of Power. It made me think - does the main character have to connect to their deck firs...

Cyberdeck operations

Cyberdecks now make computer rolls favoured. Is it possible to use cyberdecks on Core Earth, Pan Pacifica and Tharkold computers? If so, how is the interface between cyberdeck and computer effected? Does a cyberdeck need to be "jacked in" to the user via a neural jack? Do all Cyberpapacy c...

No worries, thanks! The fruits of the Aysle and Cyberpapacy Kickstarters will just have to do until this time next year :-)

Re: Gencon 2018 adventure is available on DTRPG !

Death of the Mystery Men is quite different in build than it's predecessor but the reveal is huge ! The whole thing about the Golden Kingdom and Mobius being related to them is very intriguing It's gonna be tough waiting for another year to learn about this year Gencon scenario  Definitely a h...

Re: Does anyone have any plans for Babylon in the Nile Empire?

Nothing concrete yet, but I want it to be a contrast to adventuring in or around Cairo. There you have a population which has largely loyal to Mobius and converted to Amaatism, but also crime gangs, good cops, a concentration of pulp heros and villains - it emphasises the pulp and noir crime/street ...

Re: Nile Empire Cosm Card - Suddenly!

If you have a net runner from the Cyberpapacy or Tharkold:

3 possibilities if Lord Grimdark turns up in the comments section.
2 possibilities if he sends laser sharks.
1 possibility for bad-tempered sea bass.

Re: Nile Empire Traps

Before the cosm books were released, I had a little fun with using the special skills without spells. I had a DSR where Divination was required to finish a step. If there wasn't someone with that skill, I'd have defaulted to something else, but I knew I had a spellcaster, so I tweaked the DSR to gi...

Re: Old School Perspective

The only thing I would add would be to let your players know ASAP about rules changes or rulings you're making. Players make their characters based on the rules in the book and (reasonably) expect to be able to do the thing the rules say they can do. If that's not how things work in your game then ...

Re: Restrained & Active Defense

If I’m restraining someone, I’m not letting them even talk to Taunt or Trick. And if they try to use Psionics, I’m twisting their arm to break their concentration. I don’t know that creating exceptions even makes logical sense, let alone complicating things. That might be right for a very proficien...
