Re: What Did You Use the Delphi Council for in oTorg?

I am most divided on this topic. For one part I can understand and approve of the reasons the designers of TE present the Delphi Council the way they do. It's easier to provide new players and gamemasters with a starting platform. And just cause they are (or seem to be) the good guys at this point o...

Re: Decks, discarding and shuffling

As far as I can see it, you shuffle the decks when you need to; there is no hard and written rule for that. :D I shuffle the drama deck when I flip the last card, the Cosm deck whenever the characters venture into a cosm and the Destiny deck I keep the destiny stack until the last card is used, whic...

Re: Please help me with Aysle

I'm quite satisfied with personal bias at this moment, cause, as you said, it's going to take a while before Aysle splatbook gets done. As for what Aysle is like, I need some - perhaps personally biased - views upon what to expect that go beyond "imagine 'Lord of the Rings'". I mean - real...

Re: Please help me with Aysle

This is all good and well but it doesn't help me much. Let's assume I awake from coma (28 days later style) and walk the streets of your typical city, not necessarily London or Stockholm. What about rural areas? What can I expect to see and experience? Let's also assume Eternity still divides (later...

Please help me with Aysle

I just realized I have not a very good idea what Aysle is - and probably never had. Even in oTorg I tended to avoid it whenever possible. So - what do you imagine Aysle to be like at the onset of the invasion and later on? What is the life of your average citizen like? How do elves, dwarves and what...

Re: Wish and Bane Lists

I have to agree to both points: a) I remembered it differently - but that might have to do with the vikings and the giants who were (in my memory at least evil dark and all coming from Skandinava. b) Messy is better. Still Aysle is the realm I have personally problem with imaginating it. I'll probab...

Re: Wish and Bane Lists

That's also my problem with Aysle as a whole. England = good, Scandinavia = evil, though I don't see any armies marching against each other. Ulisses told us we'll see some Game of Thrones in Aysle, but I cannot find that at this moment. I'd have preferred an Aysle where you don't know whom to trust,...

Re: Living Land Archtypes

Imho it wasn't just the lack of defined World Laws that made LL suffer. It was the lack of available Templates/Archtypes. There were 3 if I recall correctly. I'm hoping we see some more Variety this time. Does anyone have any ideas for Living Land Archtypes? Oh, the Living Land sourcebook had a few...

Re: Mixed Cosms

If any mixed zone is not playable now, then that's a reflection of the cosms now. No mix is going to be inherently goofy. That's up to how the GM interprets it. I could see a GM handling a Living Land/Tharkold mix poorly. I could also see a GM delving into the spirit of both cosms and coming up wit...

Re: Multi-Actions and Training

Under skills it says that you can't roll again on a 20 unless you have at least one add in a skill. If you are doing two actions in a round and one skill is trained and the other isn't what happens when you roll a 20? I am guess it either doesn't explode or you get to explode but one for the traine...
