Re: Advice on a Plothook

I think Aysle would work better if you're going with the cultist angle; Baruk Kaah doesn't strike me as the type. As for contact, the High Lords had to send followers over on dimthreads to plant the original stelae; an ambitious mage came across the Warden's collection of esoteric books/talismans/et...

Re: Living Land Day 2 Playtesters Wanted

I'd have no problems running it for my group; we tore through the Day One and had a blast. Unfortunately, I need a little more time to set up a full campaign, and the mini adventures in the Delphi Council book aren't a substitute for full length games. They're better left for a lull between Acts, or...

Re: ETS...The Gaunt Man comes seeking assistance

My Gospogs of the second planting have glittery, sequin like seed pods that can hypnotize their opponents as long as they continue to move in combat (no multi-action penalty applied to trick; devastating in groups)...

Re: ETS...The Gaunt Man comes seeking assistance

Why, they aid in spreading my glorious Sound, as well as supplying a well chorigraphed boot to those who are so foolish (or hard of hearing) as to resist...

Re: ETS...The Gaunt Man comes seeking assistance

Obviously, the major cities of South America will fall to the subliminal messages within my music. A happily pacified populace is a populace that doesn't rebel. Besides, with the dedication they take to Carnival every year, there will no doubt be many recruits for my Harmonic Legion...

Re: Help me to like Pan Pacifica

I can't really add anything that someone hasn't already said. Each of the cosms has enough stuff that you can down play what you don't want to deal with. Yes, a player could drop a card, but that could happen in LL ( i.e; Dino attacks card when exploring a lost fragment of a conquered realm). Just p...

Re: Question on High Lords and Dimthreads

I believe so; dimthreads are what the High Lords used to plant stelae pre-invasion, so it would make sense they can still use them outside of their realm. They are costly to use, so it's not a casual thing to do...

Re: The Pulp Power Thread

Here's a question: under the speed enhancement for flight, it says the speed goes up to 150 meters/round. Is that top speed, or replaced the base movement of walking speed?

Re: Small Groups and Possibilities

Ran through the Day One adventures with a three person party. By the end of each adventure there was usually a single cosm card left. Possibilities varied. One player frequently ran out, but that's his playing style; one was reasonably conservative; the final liked to keep a couple as a reserve, but...
