Re: Psychological impact of the Possibility Wars

Which now that I think about it, is probably more what the Gaunt Man is... Hmmm...are we sure the Gaunt Man is human? (I'm not trying to hint something here FYI). If Orrorsh is an "infection" then the Gaunt Man is the disease vector. I think of him as a human that is in symbiosis with the...

Psychological impact of the Possibility Wars

A while back, Fuzzy wrote a great overview of the United States At War where they showed the impact of the conflict on national infrastructure. What about the psychological impact? Examples that have come up in my mind: ⋅  A person shows up dressed as a superhero, claiming that they are fr...

Re: Nile Empire Kickstarter

...I reworked most of the Aysle sequence. I kept the meeting with goblins, but the rest of that Act involved infiltrating a transformed organised crime gang's base in an old power station. I threw Lekmon from "Queenswrath" in there too, to complicate things. Please tell me that you kept L...

Burden of Glory and the Nashville Incident

In "Burden of Glory" it states The most likely line of questioning involves the Nashville stela tragedy. A group of rogue Stormers and operatives uprooted a stela near Nashville that connected three zones. What three zones were impacted? (I've never seen the zones specified) In "Burde...

Re: Floor plans?

There are quite a few for $1 or $2 on Drivethru: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse.php ... st_epoch=0

I usually google "office floorplans" or whatever and search images. There are some RPG map groups on reddit that post maps for buildings.

Re: Puns to make your players hate you

The party was in an aquatic laboratory that was floating off the coast of Georgia. The first level below the water had a steadily growing leak. Player 1: How high is the water? Me: Up to your knees. Player 2: The water is up to our knees? Me: Yes. If it was milk it would be past your eyes. Entire ta...

Re: Fear

IMO hitting the group with a Save vs Stymie at the start of round 1 definitely plays a part in creating a feeling of jeopardy for the players. :) I just had my second session and the players had their first encounter with Gospog (1st planting and LL 2nd planting). It certainly put them on edge. Imm...

Re: The Pope! How many divisions has he got?

Well, you know, he has the Italian military between himself and any invasion, so, that's a bonus. I'd lay odds that there are quite a few agents that are active, however. The (Pope) works in mysterious ways. :D Wouldn't be the first time that a Pope had to survive an invasion from France. If they c...
