Re: Social Axiom Underrated

The thing I tried to show is that every Axiom playing games with your mind. Looks like Everlaw of One going through the way of the least resistance - it's simpler to affect non-living machine then living creature (as table of Transformation shows), but still your mind is never safe here.

Re: Social Axiom Underrated

Well, let me put another example then.
An Ord who transforms to the Living Land remembers that automobiles exist and that they get you from one place to another, but couldn’t explain how they work or drive one.

Re: Social Axiom Underrated

The first three govern the "physics" of a reality, Social governs thought and it's expression. As I said, I do believe it's too harsh. I mean, yeah, humans are social creatures, but still. I'd say Social governs your ability to interact and cooperate with other people and abstract social ...

Re: Shields in Unarmed Combat

Well. We're definitly speaking about rules here, right? I mean, answers like "whatever looks reasonable for you" aren't helpful. Just in case (don't believe it needs to be said), if you think some way is reasonable, use it! By RAW shields aren't melee weapons, and to use melee weapon skill...

Re: Torg at the Movies

Yup, a lot of films map on to the different realms really well. Your last one's interesting to me, though; I'd have thought of Predator as Tharkold, just because of the tech and action elements. (Though as I say that, I realise I've only seen bits and pieces of the first one, and only watched the s...

Re: Questions about vehicles

I'd talk to the player, & let them know that while I'll try to contrive situations where they'll get to use the Perk they might be better off either, picking another Perk for now & maybe picking up SD later, or coming up with another character for this particular adventure. Personally, I'd ...

Re: Questions about vehicles

If you really feel like your players have to "earn" their fun by jumping through hoops to use their characters' abilities, that's your game. I suspect you and your players enjoy that sort of game. Yes, we do. If I do creating character who is "about bikes", that means I want to ...
