I'm doing a link between all the DC missions so it turns into an epic, world hopping scenario.

P130 "Whenever the hero doesn't have the opportunity to gain a step, he can attempt the next step anyway, and it counts as an Approved Action if successful. " I'm reading this as if you are successful you complete the step and move on to the next and get a card. So what's the point of wai...

Re: Nile Empire Preview #4 - Pulp Sorcery

I'm assuming that the designers have pretty much everything sketched out power/mechanic wise between the realms and just need to flesh a few things out and write it up. Otherwise there is the potential to have every book the best it can be whilst not taking into account the whole project. That will ...

Re: Nile Empire Preview #4 - Pulp Sorcery

Actually, that ability to spend a Possibility to gain the use of a spell for the rest of the scene is a great way to handle the high-magic caster who has limited spells from perks. I could see this as a thing for Aysle archmages or something Maybe even something as powerful as having it for the res...

What3words

If anyone wants to add a bit of a puzzle into their games. Look at what3words for location of stela. This breaks the world into 3m squares with every square having 3 unique words. Put the words on items for the PC to collect then work out on a map where they are. Give them the app/web page so they c...

Re: Advice on this antag

If you're doing a campaign, I would have him as their benefactor who wants items from other realms and becomes more and more what they hate. Start off that maybe after the first scenario he employs dodgy looking bodyguards, then after that he has a secure compound and get more and more dark, until t...

Re: Nile Empire Preview #3 - Mathematics and Engineering

Interesting that there are spell components. From memory there aren't any specified in Core which really differentiate spells from Miracles/Psionics. I never used mathematics as I always saw it as clunky, good to see that you saw that too. I assume there are some spells that are Cosm/World Law ...
