So, about the Host

A few questions about the Host. 1. The Host are basically super-charged light drones, right? If so, who builds them? 2. If I'm a Cyberpapal agent, how do I convince the Host to come? Is this a Miracle or a form I need to fill in the GodNet? 3. In the Beta Clearance GM update, if I understand correct...

Didn't keep precise count, but I'm easily in the double digits. Have fun :)

Re: GodNet vs. Reality

Well, if this works, this is a game-changer indeed!

Imagine the Delphi Council using Cybercommunion + the Land of Nod as a mean to smuggle artifacts out of dungeons or into the Nile Empire. I personally like that idea very much :)

Re: GodNet vs. Reality

More seriously, do you have ideas of what an Ord would buy for use on GodNet only? For the moment, with the exception of clothing, I come up blank. Vehicles, housing, little luxuries. Sure, those things probably aren’t “needed” but even clothes aren’t necessary in a virtual world. And maybe just th...

Re: GodNet vs. Reality

I am reminded that "shopping" is what Ords do. Storm Knights don't "buy" things, so the "items for sale" don't have to be immediately usable outside the GodNet Interesting point. I'm not sure what to make of it yet, but definitely worth pondering :) One could imagine t...

Re: GodNet vs. Reality

Think of it as getting to try out your Amazon order in VE before it gets shipped to you Possible but a bit underwhelming. Also, actually harder to understand how and why that would work. Is there a duplicate for, say, my drone, waiting for me to test it in the GodNet? Because I know that I can brin...

While it's entirely possible, I wouldn't put too much stock in that specific list. I'm French and I have heard of only one of these "French superstitions"... and that's from foreigners.

Re: Cyberpapacy Sourcebook Preview Discussion

I think that the main effect the current rules achieve wrt character improvement is to keep it balanced. Just because one character has found money in the drawer doesn't make them suddenly better than the others. While it's not necessarily realistic, I appreciate that design choice.

Re: Cyberpapacy Sourcebook!!

I'm sure priests and bishops can do some actual research then pretend they had a revelation. If it's not too big of an innovation, I bet Ebenuscrux won't bother sending the Techquisition (which, interestingly despite its name, is more about acquisition than inquisition). Well, it is a pun . Proving...
