English doesn't.

The other language speakers are concerned about the "purity" of their language. English speakers aren't. As Victorian wag is reputed to have said, "defending the purity of the English language is like defending the purity of an East End whore."

It's related to English's tendency to steal any vocabulary that is needed and adapt it to our needs, creating new synonyms to enrich our pool. Or as someone else once said, "English doesn't _borrow_ from other languages. English chases them into dark alleys, beats them senseless, and rifles through their pockets for loose vocabulary."
