Can Maelstrom Bridges survive without Stelae?

Postby JohnBiles » Fri Oct 25, 2019 1:09 am

If the stelae protecting a zone around a Maelstrom bridge are pulled up, does it collapse or remain in place with reality storms on it or what?

No.

(Err, no, it can't survive. It dies explosively.)

The invaded world pushing back against the invading reality is catestrphic, especially with one as powerful as Core Earth.

A good High Lord will thus keep at least one, and probably several, back-up stelae around their bridges.

Of course, the only good High Lord is Cyberpope Jean Malreaux! And why would anyone want to destroy his Maelstrom Bridges, anyway? They're so beautiful!

Divinely inspired even! Just look at them, radiating light and purity and *goodness*!

Did you know that you could have one in your own home city?

It's true!

Missionaries are travelling to your city *righ* *now* to help, bringing with them food, miracles, but most of all they bring HOPE. You'll be safe, sheltered beneath Pere Jean's wings. That beautiful light is God smiling upon you … how could you not love that?

Open your heart to the Cyberpope.

Embrace love.

It’s a beautiful day in this CyberChurch,
A beautiful day for a convert,
Would you be mine? Could you be mine?

It’s a worshipful day for the CyberPope,
A worshipful day to be cyber,
Would you be mine? Could you be mine?

I have always wanted to have a convert just like you,
I’ve always wanted to live in a CyberChurch with you.

So let’s make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we’re together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine? Could you be mine?
Won’t you be my convert?

Won’t you please, won’t you please,
Please won’t you be my convert?

Excellent. Is music allow in the Cyberpapacy?
Question everything.

I’m guessing they have synthesizers doing electronic hymns.
