Ran my first virtual table for one player, three in the room

Postby Gargoyle » Mon Mar 04, 2019 10:40 am

Any tips for doing a split session like that on rolld20? Due to my work schedule I think that's going to be the norm. Card weren't too bad, I used the Choose option to show him the current drama card and to deal his destiny cards. But he wasn't able to see the cards in the other players' pools to offer trades. I do have a house rule that they can't trade between hands until the card is seen in the pool, so that helped. (I like to reduce trading a little to force them to play more with what they have.)

I had a webcam on the table, but I'm thinking of adding one more actually on the table's cards and mini's itself and streaming that to him somehow. Voice in Roll20.net was ok, but we had a couple of glitches testing it and one during play where he disconnected briefly, so we're thinking of switching that to discord.

Thanks!
