The upcoming kickstarter

Postby xshrekx » Fri Dec 30, 2016 9:28 am

Hello,

I am looking forward to the kickstarter and definitely want to back. I love Torg.
However I am concerned about shipping fees. If you ship from the USA exclusively I can not back the kickstarter, because I want the books and I find shipping fees and tax prohibiting. I hope you will be able to ship form Germany, too.
Good luck with the upcoming kickstarter!

Our primary shipping locations are US and Germany, so we will definitely be shipping from Germany.

The tricky one that we're trying to figure out right now is there if there's anything we can do for Japan. One of the important things we've discovered as we've launched our previews is how many active Japanese fans Torg has. We're looking into options making shipping to Japan more economical.

I can't make any promises yet, except that we will try our best.

Is there any hint on when the Kickstarter will be running? I have a pile of cash ready to send you and it's burning a hole in my pocket!

From eric's "hint" from my guess (how long the KS usually is, how long the original release should be, etc.) Would be sometime between March-May.
I don't always GM, but when i do, I go out in style :ugeek:

I'm one of the Japanese Torg fans.
Eric, I'm glad to see that you found how many Japanese fans. I'm afraid you can make the best for us!

Hello

I'm one of a Japanese TORG fan, too. TORG in WEG is translated by Japan and knows this wonderful game and after translation was stopped, we keep playing by everyone for more than 20 years.

In Japan, TORG Eternity, it's being hoped more than mind to be able to play.

18 days until "Wearing the cape" on kickstarter ends. Will that be when your kickstarter campaign starts? Just curious.
I don't make things complicated. That's the way they get, all by themselves.

I don't have any inside information, but I can bet that the official answer is something along the lines of, "Maybe, and that's final :P "

I recommend checking the calendar and then answering this question

"Is this date in the northern hemisphere spring?"

If the answer is no, that's not our Kickstarter launch date.
