Wrath & Glory Bonus Content – Ogryns

We are excited to announce our next bonus content reveal for the Wrath & Glory Pre-Order: Ogryns!

Hailing from the planet of Anark Zeta and other such very high gravity worlds, Ogryns are the heavy assault backbone of the Astra Militarum, usually attached to the various regiments of the Imperial Guard.

We are developing rules and backgrounds for these Abhumans for future products in the Wrath & Glory line, most of which we won’t even start talking about until late this year. But if you pre-order now, we will add the Ogryns Preview PDF to your bonus content at no additional charge!

As with all our PDFs, we will send these out in batches as soon as they are available, starting after July 30th. But if you want to be among the first to play an Ogryn in Wrath & Glory, head to the pre-order now!

What about those who only want pdfs?

    1. Eric Simon says:

That’s something we will have to look into. There will probably be a middle period after the pre-order fulfillment but before the next wave of products when we make this preview available publicly.

I like this. They’re being developed for a future product (I’m guessing a dog’s of war campaign as Imperial Guardsmen) so preorders get it in advance of that product.

Not exclusive, not gated content that you’ll only see if you’re a pre-order. Gives a nice incentive to preorder as it’ll give you a glimpse into the rest of the line.

Love the artwork and I’m pretty excited now for my players to have this option.

How do I download this as someone that has Pre ordered the all in bundle? I didn’t get an email or anything.

    1. Eric Simon says:

It’s not ready yet. We’re announcing things that WILL be coming.

  5. BloodStormTv says:

nice art but that is a Bullgryn not a Ogryn but nice work can’t wait to pre-order mine this month

    1. mixmastermind says:

Bullgryns are Ogryns. They’re just holding a Bulwark. You don’t become a different kind of Abhuman just because they give you a shield.

      1. That’s a comment I can get behind, and an Ogryn, especially since I added the functionality to the shield to allow for the interlock in W&G.

Eric, great to see this appearing as a little taster of the upcoming awesome!

  6. Ian says:

So I preordered on the day they opened pre-orders up. Will those who did be getting the pdf?

    1. Eric Simon says:

Yep! As we say in the Bonus Material tab on the main pre-order page:
“Each week during the pre-order period, we’ll reveal another item that will be included with every order! You’ll see digital supplements with new game material, physical items added to your order, and more!”

We’re just revealing the bonus material gradually so that we can give some of these items their own space for discussion and excitement. 🙂

  7. Olsch says:

Really cool. So what exactly is included in the preview PDF? Only background or rules to start an Ogryn character?

    1. Eric Simon says:

      Backgrounds and the basic rules.

      1. I can’t wait to see how these have come out 🙂

  8. Ogryns are cool.
But we played a Ratling Sniper Squad with Only War Rules.
    The 6th Cyprian Light Infantry.

And I need rules for them. 🙂
    Players are already itchy.

  9. Joe says:

Will all future rules be available in book format, or will there be some exclusively found in cards/decks?

    1. Eric Simon says:

Hard to say at this point. We’ll likely keep expanding on the ideas in the Campaign Card Deck, just because it opens possibilities for player-influenced story complications. If there needed to be another random-event deck, that would almost certainly have a table paired with it. But we can do a lot by just adding cards to the ones we have.

  10. Andrew says:

Now that the Ogryn and Ratlings have been released is there any chance we could get their wargear options as well? Ripper guns are absent from the rulebook as are things like the armor they wear.

    1. Eric Simon says:

That’s all part of an upcoming product, of which that PDF is a preview. It is intended as an early look, not a complete guide.

      1. Andrew says:

When will that complete product be released? I have pre-ordered it and am looking through the core rulebook now and none of that is in there. Will there be a supplemental release with this information? Is there a time frame for when we can expect that.
I am currently trying to build an ogryn for an upcoming campaign and am having to take a lot of things as “count as” gear and would love to not be mid campaign and have lots of things change

        1. Eric Simon says:

We’ll start talking more about that by the end of the year, with probably an early 2019 pre-order and mid-2019 release.
